  This place will take you back to the burgers you got as a kid.
  Got their Giant Burger Combo and the food was hitting the spot to fight my hunger pains of driving the I-5. The fries are crispy delicious and are nice and hot right from the fryer. The burger had some amazing flavor to it that really does take you back to your youth. (To the people 35 and older).
  
  I was pulling off I-5 and going to go and get a burger from Burger King for just something hot and not liking that i was going to get a chain store burger.
  Immediately seen Bartel's Giant Burger right there and checked google reviews right at the intersection while scanning my rear view mirror for vehicles behind me an was easily convinced with the overwhelmingly positive google reviews and something that is a ma and pa style diner experience over the chain store blandness that can be good in a pinch. But this place has an energy and is packed with locals and Cal Fire Crews when i got there.
  
  The only Con i can say the bathrooms are two portapotties in the back of the place.
  But other then that. This place rocks and i will be back when driving down the road.

  The burgers are grilled on a flat top, not charbroiled. You can watch them cook your meal if you want, and the onion rings are like "the good ol' days". I haven't had their milkshakes, but my friends say they're good. The local hot rodders hang out there on Friday evenings. Very easy, local atmosphere.
